For more than two decades, she has shared her expertise with hundreds of students—guiding beginners through their first projects and helping experienced artists expand their creative vision.

Beyond the classroom, Bonnie leads international workshops and art tours, giving participants the chance to explore mosaic traditions while experiencing diverse cultures. She also reaches a global audience through her YouTube channel, Make it Mosaics, where she shares tutorials, tips, and project ideas to spark creativity at every level.
Bonnie is the author of two well-regarded books, 300+ Mosaic Tips, Techniques, Templates and Trade Secrets and Guide to Mosaic Techniques. Both have become trusted resources for hobbyists, educators, and professional artists alike.

Under the name Maverick Mosaics, she creates custom artwork for both private and public spaces, infusing each project with her distinctive sense of design, texture, and colour. She also founded the Maverick Legacy Program, which works with elementary schools to educate students, foster an appreciation for community and public art, and provide mosaic training for art teachers.
